5 Digital Products You Can Create and Sell This Weekend (Even If You’re Busy AF)

Let’s be honest: starting a digital business sounds amazing until real life kicks in. Between work, errands, family responsibilities, and trying to maintain some kind of social life, it can feel like there's zero time to create anything, let alone an entire product. But what if I told you that you could knock out a digital product THIS weekend and have it up and ready to sell before Monday?

Whether you're looking to make passive income, start your first digital side hustle, or grow your existing online business, these ideas are perfect for busy entrepreneurs who don't have hours to spare. Here are 5 easy, high-impact digital products you can create and start selling fast—yes, even if your weekend is already packed.  And I know it works and is possible, because I have done it!

You can create a simple, helpful planner or checklist around something your audience struggles with. Think: content planning, morning routines, budgeting, meal planning, or self-care. Use Canva or grab a PLR template and tweak it to make it yours. Add your branding, and boom—product ready to go.

The hardest part, in my opinion, is determining your audience struggles and the answer to that.  And, if you are like me, you might even second guess yourself - "Why would someone spend money on that?".  But, the reality is, someone WILL spend money on that if it truly is something that meets a need or fixes a pain point of your audience.  

Pro tip: Upload it to Etsy, Shopify, or Payhip and make it instantly downloadable. Done and done. These kinds of digital downloads are always in demand and perfect for creating passive income.

No need to write a novel—a short, 5-10 page guide that solves a specific problem is more than enough. If writing isn't your thing, use ChatGPT to help you outline and write it. You can also use PLR content and rework it to fit your brand voice.

These bite-sized digital products are great for building credibility, growing your email list, or offering as low-ticket items in your store.

Tip: Use this ChatGPT prompt to get you started - "I help [insert who you help] with [insert their biggest struggle]. I want to create a short ebook or guide that I can sell as a digital product. Can you give me 5–10 topic ideas that solve a real pain point for my audience and would be quick to create?"

Yes, really. You can use AI tools or ready-made image bundles to create a themed coloring book for kids, adults, or even niche audiences (think: affirmations, mindfulness, business-themed fun). Combine it with a few Canva edits and you’ve got a unique, low-effort digital product.

Bonus: These work great on platforms like Etsy and Amazon KDP, making them an ideal choice for passive income through digital and print-on-demand products.  My favorite way to do it is to create a book I can post on Amazon KDP and then sell individual pages or packs of pages on Etsy.
